Crafted Games Studios publishes original game-development guidance under the responsibility of the Crafted Games Studios Editorial Desk. This policy explains how an article qualifies for publication and how errors are corrected.
Topic selection
Topics must serve the established field of game development or player support and answer a specific task. We reject unrelated high-volume terms, near-match third-party brand queries, speculative product pages, and articles that cannot add independently useful value.
Sources and review
Primary documentation from engines, platforms, standards bodies, and stores is preferred for factual requirements. Sources are linked at article level and checked on the displayed review date. A worked example is hypothetical unless explicitly supported by a published first-hand record. Volatile facts are rechecked when a substantive revision is made.
A review checks that the headline matches the article, the immediate answer appears near the beginning, source links support the attached claim, the example is concrete, and the conclusion states who the advice suits. A long article still fails when it repeats generic advice or lacks a verifiable basis.
Authorship and automation
The responsible author is the Crafted Games Studios Editorial Desk, an organizational byline. Drafting and visual production may use automated assistance. Publication requires human-directed scope, source selection, consistency review, disclosure where readers would reasonably expect it, and rejection of unsupported claims. We do not fabricate people, credentials, testing, quotations, products, or experience.
Images
Launch editorial images were generated for this publication and edited into subject-specific raster assets. Captions state that they are illustrations, not game screenshots. Third-party brand assets are not republished as decoration. Future screenshots require documented ownership or permission.
Corrections
Send the URL, disputed passage, explanation, and supporting source to server@craftedgamestudios.com. Material corrections change the displayed update date and add a note when the prior wording could have changed a reader’s decision. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be corrected without a public note.
We distinguish correction from disagreement. A factual or sourcing error is checked against evidence. A difference in design judgment is reviewed for missing context, unsupported certainty, or omitted trade-offs. We may keep a supported conclusion while clarifying its limits. Removed pages should return an appropriate status or redirect only when a genuinely equivalent destination exists.
Conflicts and monetization
Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, supplied review access, or other material conflicts will be disclosed on the relevant page. At launch, the site contains no paid placement, affiliate link, or AdSense publisher code.
